From Agri Cultura

Research and Development

The farmer, who relies on ancient cultivation methods and observes the cycles of the moon to know when it is time to sow, seems like an archetype consigned to reading, in an era in which the most advanced technologies have arrived in the fields, overturning ancient adages and superstitions. However, there are farmers who go against the tide, challenging trends and proposals of great forced productivity to recover natural methods: they live and work on organic farms, in the name of a science that rejects every chemical product (fertilizers, fungicides) to use natural substances and substances contained in the plant world. Our research is an example of organic agriculture.

Mission

The agricultural sector is almost entirely based on R&D, thanks to collaboration between farmers and researchers. The results of the research are rapidly transmitted to the field for experimentation: the problems that arise are presented directly to scientists so that they can find solutions. R&D in agriculture is conducted primarily by the Agricultural Research Organization of the Ministry of Agriculture

GOALS

Human action has changed the chemistry of the soil and undermined the balance between the various organisms that live there with an inevitable weakening of crops. The drastic impoverishment of the organic and natural substance of the soil is a consequence of years of modern agriculture and the uncontrolled use of chemical substances harmful to the soil such as synthetic fertilizers. Samagri was born from all these problems. The company has invested in the search for alternative and natural solutions, making specifically designed microbial consortia available to its partner companies capable of revitalizing tired and weakened soils. The bioformulates produced are rich in live and active microbial consortia, ubiquitous organisms naturally present in crops capable of interacting with plant roots providing a series of benefits to the host plant. The high cell density of our bioformulates and their freshness allow us to revitalize tired and depleted soils, restoring the biodiversity of the rhizosphere to the benefit of crop health.
